The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is publishing two Iran-related general licenses (GLs): GLs Y and Z. These licenses authorize certain transactions otherwise prohibited by sanctions regulations related to Iran. GL Y was issued on July 10, 2026, and GL Z was issued on July 14, 2026, with both licenses having expiration dates in August and September 2026 respectively. The publication serves to officially announce these licenses which were previously available on OFAC's website.
