Description

The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary safety zone in Massachusetts Bay, approximately 22 miles northeast of Boston, MA, to protect personnel, vessels, and the maritime public from hazards associated with subsea demolition operations. The safety zone will cover all navigable waters within a 500-meter radius of a specified position and will be enforced from February 28, 2027, through September 30, 2027. Entry into the safety zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector Boston or a designated representative.
