Description

The Museum of Northern Arizona (MNA) has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory determined a cultural affiliation between the remains and associated funerary objects and certain Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice details the repatriation process and identifies the affiliated tribes. Repatriation may occur on or after October 23, 2026.
