This opportunity seeks a design/build contractor for a turnkey interactive water splash pad at Anthony Brooks Park in Henderson, Kentucky. - Government Buyer: - City of Henderson, Kentucky (Finance Department, Administration/Engineering) - Project funded by a $245,000 Land and Water Conservation Fund grant via the Kentucky Department for Local Government and US Department of the Interior, National Park Service - Scope of Work: - Design, permitting, furnishing, installation, and commissioning of a non-recirculating (flow-through) splash pad system - Wet zone of approximately 1,250 sq ft with at least four above-ground spray features and multiple ground spray elements for children aged 2-12 - Demolition of existing play structure and swing set - Installation of wood chip and rubberized play surfaces - Construction of new play structure with two swings - Single restroom with attached maintenance room - Sidewalks and landscaping - Products/Services Requested: - Interactive water splash pad system (including potable water, sanitary sewer, electrical, lockable enclosure, programmable controls) - Design and build services (turnkey project, permitting, testing, commissioning, training, warranty, operational support) - Demolition, site grading, play equipment installation, restroom construction, sidewalk and landscaping - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with ADA, local codes, and Build America, Buy America Act - Water-efficient technologies and tamper-resistant components - Ongoing federal and state grant reporting and maintenance obligations - Penalties for project delays; warranty and operational support required - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; proposals must be submitted in hard copy - Project budget is $200,000 to $235,000, with total grant funding of $245,000

The City of Henderson, Kentucky is soliciting sealed proposals for the design and construction of an interactive water splash pad at Anthony Brooks Park.
