The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), part of the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy, is seeking a complete laboratory fume hood system from Mott Manufacturing through a brand name only solicitation. - Government Buyer: - Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) - OEMs and Vendors: - Mott Manufacturing (OEM) - Only authorized OEM resellers or dealers for Mott Manufacturing may respond - Products Requested: - One complete 72-inch laboratory chemical fume hood system - Includes: fume hood superstructure, black epoxy dished work surface, three-piece base cabinet assembly (acid, solvent, vacuum pump cabinets), stainless steel lattice rack, venting kit - Factory-mounted digital airflow monitor (TEL AFA1000 or equal) - Electrical and utility fixtures - Chemical-resistant powder-coated steel exterior, white FRP interior liner - Safety glass sash, bypass CAV airflow design convertible to VAV - Must meet ASHRAE 110-2016 safety standards - Services Requested: - Inside delivery, uncrating, and rigging to Building A50, Room 117 - Joint inspection upon delivery - Post-installation face-velocity and containment certification testing by qualified technician (ASHRAE 110-2016) - Certification sticker affixed after testing - Unique Requirements: - Brand name only: Mott Manufacturing - Must provide authorized OEM reseller letter with quote - Compliance with Trade Agreements Act (TAA) and Buy American Act (BAA) - Shipping costs must be included - Delivery and installation must include certification testing and sticker
