Description

This project involves the construction of a below grade valve vault and associated appurtenances, including piping, a new access driveway, drainage and stormwater management systems, fencing, site lighting, electrical, and communications work. It includes installation of approximately 1,100 feet of 36-inch ductile iron pipe transmission main, 960 feet of 12-inch ductile iron pipe distribution main on Barnes Avenue, and a 36-inch tapping sleeve and valve on an existing 48-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe within Quinnipiac Avenue. The project also covers temporary water main and services, replacement or relocation of storm drainage and sanitary sewer service laterals, and associated restoration work.
