Salt Lake County Surveyor’s Office is establishing a pool of qualified contractors for monument placement and comprehensive surveying services. - Government Buyer: - Salt Lake County Surveyor’s Office - Scope of Work: - Monument installation, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation - Includes raising monument rings and lids, installing new monuments, repairing or replacing monument components, and restoring surfaces per Salt Lake County and APWA standards - Surveying and mapping services - Boundary/cadastral, ALTA/NSPS, topographical, as-built, construction, right-of-way, control, flood plain, bathymetric, utility, investigative surveys, volume calculation, lidar scanning - Mapping and platting services: subdivision, street dedication, GIS, aerial photography - Document preparation: legal descriptions, abstracting, record research, PLSS corner reports - Materials and Requirements: - Contractors must supply materials such as concrete, sand, gravel, asphalt, and provide traffic control and utility coordination - Salt Lake County will provide specific monument materials - Contractors must furnish all labor and equipment - Compliance with safety, insurance, and professional licensure standards is required - Contract Structure: - Multiple contracts awarded, each not to exceed $50,000 - Hourly rates guaranteed for 24 months; possible bi-annual price adjustments up to 5% with County approval - Selection based on cost, scheduling, and availability; innovative approaches and optional features encouraged - Deliverables: - Digital data, plats, and reports conforming to County standards - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified firms

Description

Salt Lake County, on behalf of the Surveyor’s Office, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform monument installations as part of a qualified pool of contractors. Multiple contracts will be awarded as a result of this Expedite RFP. The scope includes installation, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation of monuments according to Salt Lake County and APWA standards, as well as various surveying and mapping services. Contractors will be selected based on cost, scheduling, and availability to perform the work.
