Description

This Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) is the first phase of a procurement process by Shared Services Canada (SSC) for Government of Canada Managed Backup and Recovery Software (MBRS). The procurement aims to modernize and optimize managed backup and recovery software across various environments including on-premises data centres, private, hybrid, and public cloud environments. Suppliers are invited to pre-qualify to become Qualified Respondents for subsequent phases. This ITQ is not a solicitation of bids or tenders, and no contract will be awarded during this phase. Qualified respondents will be invited to participate in later phases such as the Review and Refine Requirements (RRR) phase and any resulting Request for Proposals (RFP). Neither contractor managed services nor hardware to support the backup and recovery software are in scope for this procurement.
