Description

This notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) aims to establish a national center to support state, local, and tribal criminal justice agencies, treatment providers, courts, corrections, and community supervision agencies in addressing the needs of veterans in the justice system. The center will provide specialized tools, training, and technical assistance on military culture, combat trauma, MST, PTSD, TBI, and other veteran-specific issues. It will serve as a centralized resource to improve veteran identification, cross-system coordination, and implementation of evidence-based interventions.
