Description

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks a qualified legal services provider to deliver housing-related legal assistance to Montgomery County residents experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or facing housing instability. The provider will offer legal advocacy, representation, consultation, education, and other services to prevent displacement, preserve tenancies, remove housing barriers, and promote long-term housing stability. Services will be provided through referrals from county offices and community partners, including on-site legal assistance in Magisterial District Courts as part of the Eviction Prevention & Intervention Coalition (EPIC). The provider must collaborate with various stakeholders to help residents avoid eviction and maintain or obtain safe housing.
