E&I Cooperative Services, Inc., a member-owned sourcing cooperative for educational institutions, is seeking proposals for comprehensive construction delivery methods and related assurance services. - Government Buyer: - E&I Cooperative Services, Inc. - Sourcing Manager, Facilities: Bob Solak - Scope of Procurement: - All construction delivery methods for educational institutions (higher education, K-12, teaching healthcare facilities) - Services include new construction, renovations, deferred maintenance, and construction assurance - Construction assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services (e.g., material testing, geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting) - Products/Services Requested: - Construction services using methods such as: - Job Order Contracting - Construction Manager as Advisor - General Contracting - Design-Bid-Build - Design-Build - Progressive Design-Build - Construction Manager at Risk - Construction Management Multi-Prime - Integrated Project Delivery - Public-Private Partnership - EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) - EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) - Construction assurance services including: - Material testing & inspection - Geotechnical engineering & drilling - Environmental consulting & industrial hygiene - Specialty testing & certification - Building science solutions - Notable Requirements: - Suppliers must be manufacturers/providers or fully authorized dealers/resellers - Offerings must meet/exceed industry standards and comply with all applicable regulations - Suppliers may need to meet additional state-specific compliance - Manufacturers can authorize dealers/resellers under the agreement - Agreement will be available to over 6,400 educational institution members nationwide - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits proposals from qualified suppliers for all construction delivery methods. The RFP aims to establish a Main Agreement with one or more awarded suppliers to serve as a procurement vehicle for members to acquire proposed products and/or services. The initial term of the agreement is five years with a renewal term up to five years. The agreement will incorporate the terms and conditions of the RFP and the awarded suppliers' proposals, and some members may require compliance with additional state laws and regulations after award.
