Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) published a final rule to define the term "unsafe or unsound practice" for purposes of section 8 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and to revise the supervisory framework for the issuance of matters requiring attention and other supervisory communications. This document corrects an incorrect agency docket number for the OCC that appeared in the original final rule published on September 1, 2026. The correction ensures accurate referencing of the OCC docket number. The final rule is effective November 2, 2026.
