Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on the renewal of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval for an existing information collection. This collection involves criteria for guidance of states and NRC in the discontinuance of NRC regulatory authority and assumption thereof by states through agreement. It also covers maintenance of existing Agreement State programs, requests for information through the Integrated Materials Performance Evaluation Program (IMPEP) questionnaire, and Agreement State participation in IMPEP. The information collection is required every 5 years for IMPEP questionnaire completion, annually for participation in IMPEP reviews, and one time for new Agreement State applications.
