Description

The Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), is submitting a request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for reinstatement of a previously approved information collection related to the Law Enforcement Officers Congressional Badge of Bravery (CBOB). The collection involves nomination information used to confirm eligibility of nominees for the CBOB award. Eligible nominations are forwarded to the Federal or State and Local CBOB for further consideration. The program allows Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agency heads to nominate officers who have demonstrated acts of bravery, including those who sustained physical injury or were at risk of serious injury or death while performing their duties.
