The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary safety zone on the Neuse River in New Bern, North Carolina, to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment during an aerobatic air show scheduled for November 28, 2026. The safety zone will cover approximately one square mile of navigable waters adjacent to Union Point Park and will be enforced from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on that day. Entry into the safety zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or their designated representative. Comments on this proposed rulemaking must be received by October 22, 2026.
