The U.S. Air Force, 9th Civil Engineer Squadron at Beale Air Force Base, is soliciting quotes for the delivery and installation of high-durability bird netting at two fire station locations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 9th Civil Engineer Squadron, Beale Air Force Base - Point of Contact: Aaron Leal - Products Requested: - Tensioned wire bird netting with 3/4 inch (0.75") mesh or smaller - 175 feet x 100 feet (quantity: 1) - 40 feet x 40 feet (quantity: 1) - Materials for Fire Station 1 and Fire Station 2 (quantity: 1 each) - Netting must be UV-treated, flame-resistant, and rot-proof - Services Requested: - Installation of bird netting at both locations - Includes all labor, lift equipment, tools, site preparation, cleaning, wire framework fabrication, and installation - Unique Requirements: - Netting must protect emergency response assets from English Sparrow damage - Delivery and installation must be completed within 45 calendar days from contract award - Work to be performed during normal duty hours, excluding federal holidays and base family days - Firm fixed price contract; contingent on availability of appropriated funds - No specific OEMs or brands are named; vendors must supply netting meeting the technical specifications

This is a combined symopsis/solicitation for delivery and installation of Bird Netting at two locations on Beale AFB.

Availability of Funds (Apr 1984)

Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
