The organization, Andrews AFB Fire and Emergency Services, has identified a critical need to acquire new, specialized fire hoses and couplings. This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. No proposals are being requested or accepted at this time. This notice does not constitute a solicitation. The required items are specifically Mercedes-brand hoses of various types and sizes, complete with factory-installed, compatible aluminum couplings. This includes:

- 4" Supply Hose: Needed for providing the primary water supply from hydrants to fire apparatus during structural and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) incidents. - 1.75" Attack Hose: To serve as the primary hose for firefighters to conduct interior attacks on structural fires. - 2.5" Attack/Supply Hose: Required for situations demanding high-flow water streams, such as large-volume fires, standpipe operations, and ARFF support. - Couplings: Essential for ensuring secure, leak-free connections that prevent accidental disconnection under pressure and speed up deployment with directional indicators.
