Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking public comments on the reporting requirements contained in existing FDA regulations governing temporary marketing permit applications. This collection supports FDA regulations that allow the issuance of temporary marketing permits for experimental food packs that deviate from applicable definitions and standards of identity. The information collected helps the FDA monitor the manufacture, labeling, and distribution of these experimental food packs and supports petitions to establish or amend food definitions or standards. Comments on this proposed collection must be submitted by November 20, 2026.
