Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) issued an Order to Show Cause to John Ramsay Walters, M.D., proposing the revocation of his Certificate of Registration No. AW8146602. The revocation is based on the fact that Dr. Walters is currently without authority to prescribe, administer, dispense, or handle controlled substances in California, the state where he is registered with the DEA. The Medical Board of California adopted a Stipulated Surrender of License and Disciplinary Order effective December 31, 2025, and Dr. Walters surrendered his medical license. Consequently, the DEA revoked his registration effective October 21, 2026, and denied any pending applications for renewal or modification of his registration.
