The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of a single home in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. - Scope of work includes: - Carpentry labor for general rehabilitation - Replacement and tear out of single-hung vinyl windows (30"x27") - Installation and removal of vinyl sheet flooring (.065" thickness) - Replacement and removal of OSB subflooring (5/8" thickness) - Cutting up and hauling away two trees over 36" diameter, including stump grinding - Replacement and removal of lap hardboard siding with 10" exposure (totaling 2,528 SF) - Use of a tandem axle dump trailer for debris removal - Quantities specified: - 10 windows replaced, 1 window removed - 488 SF vinyl flooring replaced, 72 SF removed - 72 SF OSB subfloor replaced and removed - 2 large trees cut and hauled - 2,528 SF siding replaced and removed - Project must be completed within 30 working days; liquidated damages of $100 per day for delays - Preference for TERO-certified bidders and compliance with tribal rules, Davis-Bacon wage rates, and Buy American provisions - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; contractor provides all materials and labor - Unique requirements: tribal and Indian preference, TERO certification, Buy American compliance
