The City of Danville, Kentucky is seeking bids for the construction of an industrial road entrance on the US 150/127 Bypass. - Scope of work includes: - Construction of left and right turn lanes on the bypass - Enlargement of the existing crossover - Building a 42-foot paved entrance within the right of way - Installation of roadway drainage pipes and structures - Installation of an 84-foot 12x4 concrete box culvert with headwalls - Construction of approximately 152 feet of entrance, curb and gutter, and sidewalks outside the right of way - All work must comply with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (2026 edition) - Work on the US 127/150 Bypass must be performed by a KYTC pre-approved contractor - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Project will be bid on a lump sum basis - A pre-bid meeting is required

Sealed bids are requested for the construction of an industrial road entrance on US 150/127 Bypass. The project scope includes constructing left and right turn lanes, enlarging the existing crossover, building a 42ft paved entrance on the right of way, installing roadway drainage pipe and structures, installing an 84ft concrete box culvert with headwalls, and constructing approximately 152 feet of entrance, curb & gutter, and sidewalks outside of the right of way. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes on a lump sum basis and will be publicly opened and read aloud at the specified time. The work must comply with KYTC Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction 2026 edition and be performed by a KYTC pre-approved contractor.
