Description

The District of Hope is seeking proposals from qualified public accounting firms to provide external financial audit services for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2026, 2027, and 2028, with an option to extend for 2029 and 2030. The selected firm will conduct the annual consolidated financial statement audit in compliance with statutory and professional standards including the Community Charter, Canadian Auditing Standards, and Public Sector Accounting Standards. The engagement aims to deliver a high-quality, efficient, and independent audit with clear communication to management and Council on significant accounting and financial matters. The initial contract term is three years with a possible two-year extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
