The City of West Des Moines, Iowa is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) services for the reconstruction of Fire & EMS Station 21 located at 3421 Ashworth Road. The project includes demolition of the existing station (excluding the telecom tower and generator), site improvements such as grading, utilities, pavement, landscaping, and construction of a new approximately 16,600 square foot facility with a 2,250 square foot mezzanine. The preliminary Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) budget is $12,700,000. The project schedule includes issuing permit/bid documents in March 2027, construction commencement in June 2027, substantial completion in October 2028, and final occupancy by December 2028.
