Description

The FY 2027 Health Center Program Service Area Competition (SAC) funding aims to improve the health of medically underserved communities and populations by providing grants to support the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services in the United States and its territories. Service areas available for competition are announced in the Service Area Announcement Table (SAAT), with additional areas possibly announced during the year if a funded health center cannot continue services. The program expects to award 63 grants with funding ranging from $650,000 to $10,116,100. Applications must be submitted electronically by October 19, 2026, and the expected award date is April 1, 2027.
