The City of Santa Maria is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for the final design and preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) for the Active Transportation Program (ATP) Cycle 6 project. The project advances existing 30% concept plans and includes improvements along multiple streets and neighborhood routes in Santa Maria, California. Major elements include various classes of bicycle facilities, upgraded crossings, ADA-compliant curb ramps, flashing beacons, and modifications to signing, striping, parking, pavement, drainage, and utilities. The selected consultant will prepare a complete, biddable, and constructible PS&E package and provide design support services to advance the project to Ready to List/advertisement in accordance with City standards and Caltrans requirements.
