The City of Culver City is seeking a qualified consultant to provide on-call utility permitting and coordination services for capital improvement projects. - Government Buyer: - City of Culver City Finance Department - Public Works Environmental Programs & Operations Division - Services Requested: - Comprehensive third-party coordination for capital improvement, transportation, utility, roadway, development, and infrastructure projects - Management of permits, approvals, agreements, utility relocations, and risk mitigation - Coordination with outside agencies, utility owners, property owners, regulatory agencies, railroads, adjacent jurisdictions, developers, and other third parties - Early identification of third-party requirements, communication, reviews, approvals, monitoring commitments and schedules, risk identification, and issue resolution - Support from planning and design through permitting, construction, system activation, and project closeout - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Preference for independent Green Certification in line with EPA Environmentally Preferred Purchasing - Proof of insurance required: general liability, cyber liability, professional liability, and workers compensation - Consultant acts as an independent contractor and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations - City retains ownership of all work products - Alternative proposals may be submitted - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified consulting firms - Contract term is three years with two optional one-year extensions; services provided on an as-needed, task order basis

The City of Culver City is seeking a qualified consultant to provide comprehensive third-party on-call coordination services in support of City capital improvement, transportation, utility, roadway, development, and infrastructure projects. The consultant will act as an extension of City staff, managing coordination with outside agencies, utility owners, property owners, regulatory agencies, railroads, adjacent jurisdictions, developers, and other third parties during all project phases. Responsibilities include identifying third-party requirements early, maintaining communication, coordinating reviews and approvals, monitoring schedules, identifying risks, and resolving issues. The contract aims to support timely project delivery from planning through project closeout.
