Description
The Melbourne Airport Authority (MAA) is seeking bids to demolish and clear the classroom and hangar buildings of the former Eastern Florida State College. This first phase of the project will be for demolition and clearing only under a Lump Sum Contract. The successful bidder will be responsible for maintenance of traffic, coordination with other contractors, and supporting airport operations during construction. The scope includes value engineering, scheduling, permitting, subcontractor bidding and contracting, supervision, document control, inspections, commissioning, training, and project close-out. Coordination with Airport Operations, tenants, and other contractors is required to minimize conflicts and delays during construction while the airport remains operational.
