The City of Denton, Texas (Denton Energy Center) is seeking a contractor to provide, install, and commission a Distributed Control System (DCS) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) system for three 60,000-gallon storage tanks at the Denton Energy Center. - Government Buyer: - City of Denton, Denton Energy Center, Purchasing Office - OEMs and Vendors: - Coordination with Wartsila (DCS OEM) is required for system integration - Products/Services Requested: - Distributed Control System (DCS) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) system for three storage tanks - DCS I/O modules, power supply, and wiring - Instrumentation components: thermowells, protection tubes, level switches, level transmitters, gauge glasses, flow meters, orifice flanges/plates, condensate and seal pots/reservoirs - Power, control, and instrumentation cable and accessories - Calibration of all instrumentation - Circuit installation, identification, testing, and verification - Complete installation and execution of the DCS and HMI system (lump sum) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Integration and loop checks with the existing DCS, requiring coordination with Wartsila - Compliance with industry safety and quality standards - Submission of company history, experience, safety records, and warranty information - Evaluation based on delivery schedule, compliance, past performance, and price - Strict insurance coverage and conflict of interest disclosure required
