Description
This notice announces the issuance of countervailing duty orders on steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Egypt. The orders follow affirmative final determinations by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission that subsidized imports of rebar from these countries materially injure a U.S. industry. The orders require suspension of liquidation and assessment of countervailing duties on unliquidated entries of rebar from Vietnam and Egypt entered on or after January 13, 2026, with some exceptions. The scope includes rebar in straight length or coil form, excluding plain rounds.
