Description
Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase GE Medical Products from a contract awarded by a consortium (GPO) pursuant to its authority under section 163(3)(vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent GE products may contact to discuss the procurement. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance and KPIs of the products. If offering a clinical equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendor must be authorized by the OEM to sell their offered products as listed on the GPO contract or approved equivalent.
