NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, part of the U.S. Navy, is seeking to lease two commercial aerial work platforms for maintenance and repair operations aboard the USS Frank Cable (AS-40). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka - MSC Supply Officer, USS Frank Cable (AS-40) - Products/Services Requested: - Lease of one commercial aerial work platform with a 120-foot working height - Lease of one commercial aerial work platform with an 85-foot working height - Both platforms must be delivered, retrieved, maintained, and include safety and operational demonstrations, as well as replacement support - Requirements: - Equipment must be fully operational and meet government specifications - Contractor responsible for delivery, transportation, mobilization, retrieval, maintenance, safety demonstrations, and replacement support - Place of performance is Naval Base Guam - Firm fixed price contract - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable Details: - Lease period is approximately two weeks - Equipment must be suitable for shipboard maintenance and repair operations

Description

Lease of two (2) commercial aerial work platforms for a two-week period to support shipboard maintenance and repair operations. The Contractor shall provide fully operational equipment meeting the Government's required specifications including delivery to and pickup from the designated location.

PLACE OF PERFORMNACE CLARIFICATION:

Although the SAM.gov notice and the location information with the attached 1449 may display Norlfok, Virginia in connection with the delivery/perfromance location, actual performance under this requirement will take place at Naval Base Guam, Guam.

The Norfolk, Virginia location reflected in the 1449 is associated with the administrative DoDAAC utilized for this procurement and does not represent the physical place of performance.

Offerors shall base their quotations includin all delivery, transportation, mobilization, retrieval and other associated costs on performance at Naval Baase Guam in accordance with the solicitaiton and PWS.
