Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA-265 intends to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) delivery order against an existing sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0006 to The Boeing Company (Boeing) for supplies and services associated with the Stores Management Processor (SMP) Obsolescence Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Mitigation. The delivery order will include but it not limited to the scope of work to design and qualify alternate parts to replace obsolete components of the SMP of the AYK-22 Stores Management Processor (SMP).  

The period of performance is anticipated to begin November 2028 and will be 44 months. 

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.  

This synopsis is for informational purposes only. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.103-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or series will satisfy agency requirements”. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
