The U.S. Coast Guard Academy is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive background screening services for volunteers, prospective cadets, and related participants. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard Academy (Department of Homeland Security) - Admissions Office is involved - Services Requested: - Background screening for Cadet Sponsor Program participants, Academy Admissions Partners, annually appointed applicants, and other campus-related positions - Approximately 1,900 background checks annually - Screening includes: - SSN validation - Address verification - National criminal file searches - Five-year felony checks (county, state, federal records) - Sex offender registry searches across all 50 states - Other relevant database checks - Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and secure online systems - Results must be available within 72 hours in a secure online portal, accessible 24/7 with archival capability - Compliance with NDAA, federal and state laws, ethical standards, and security requirements for data confidentiality, integrity, and availability - No travel required; work performed remotely - Post-award conference within seven business days - Reports provided only to designated Division Officers - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable emphasis on secure online systems, rapid turnaround, and strict data protection

Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and secure online systems necessary to conduct background screening services for U.S. Coast Guard Academy volunteers and prospective cadets, including Cadet Sponsor Program participants, Academy Admissions Partners, annually appointed applicants, and other campus-related positions.
