Description
This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is issued to secure a General Contractor to remove and dispose of an existing generator and to purchase and install a new emergency generator compatible with the existing transfer switch at the Blount County Health Department. The scope includes installation of equipment, materials, supplies, associated piping, fittings, valves, and other necessary appurtenances to complete the installation. The contractor must construct the replacement generator complete in place and ready to operate. All bidders must be licensed contractors with the State of Tennessee as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994. The project is ARPA funded with provisions for alternative funding if lead times exceed ARPA deadlines.
