The City of Fredericton is seeking a qualified supplier to provide comprehensive fire alarm, burglar alarm, sprinkler monitoring, and electronic door access control services for its municipal facilities. - Government Buyer: - City of Fredericton, Office of the City Clerk - Scope of Services: - Monitoring, inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, programming, and support for fire alarm, sprinkler monitoring, burglar/intrusion alarm, and electronic door access control systems - Annual inspection, testing, and reporting for 42 municipal facilities - Continuous 24/7 monitoring services for 660 accounts (standard, GSM backup, special, pool reporting) - Supply of 300 standard access cards for access control systems - Labour for regular and after-hours service calls - Preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and system modifications - Support for EntraPass access control environment and integration with fire alarm systems - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Onsite personnel must be fully vaccinated - Adherence to information security standards (ISO 27000 or equivalent) - Compliance with the City’s Supplier Code of Conduct and RTIPPA data protection - Insurance coverage and confidentiality requirements - Experience with multi-facility environments and integrated life-safety/security systems - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named; all materials, parts, and access cards are generic - Quantities and facility lists are provided for evaluation purposes only; actual requirements may vary during the contract term

Description

The City of Fredericton is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide monitoring, inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, programming, and support services for fire alarm systems, sprinkler monitoring systems, burglar and intrusion alarm systems, and electronic door access control systems located throughout Local Government facilities. These systems support life safety, security, regulatory compliance, and daily operations across various facilities. The selected supplier must provide reliable monitoring, timely service, preventative maintenance, regulatory inspections, emergency repairs, troubleshooting, programming, and ongoing technical support. The goal is to establish a long-term relationship supporting current and future infrastructure needs during the term of the agreement.
