SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Draeger Anesthesia Machines and Related Products from a contract awarded by Vizient pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes purchases from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent products must demonstrate clinical performance equivalency and provide supporting clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendors must be authorized to sell Draeger Anesthesia Machines as listed on the Vizient contract.
