Description

The City of Calgary is seeking proposals for a centralized dispatch service and supporting technology solutions to coordinate and schedule on-demand wheelchair accessible taxi services across multiple taxi brokerages and independent drivers. The solution will provide customers with a single point of contact through multiple service channels, including telephone, web-based services, email, and mobile applications. The objectives are to improve access, reduce wait times, enhance reliability, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen oversight through reporting and analytics. The contract includes implementation, licensing, training, support, maintenance, and ongoing operation for a duration of 35 months starting from April 1, 2027.
