The U.S. Forest Service, Payson Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest, is seeking materials for cattle guard replacement and rehabilitation on National Forest System roads. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, Payson Ranger District - Products Requested: - 12" deep concrete bases for 14' and 16' wide metal cattle guard grates - 2 units for 14' wide grates - 2 units for 16' wide grates - 14' wide cattle guard assemblies (including concrete base, metal grate, and wing-to-fence attachments, HS-20 rated) - 4 units - 16' wide cattle guard assemblies (including concrete base, metal grate, and wing-to-fence attachments, HS-20 rated) - 2 units - Technical Requirements: - All cattle guard assemblies must be rated for AASHTO HS-20 loads - Delivery to Payson Administrative Road Crew Workstation - Minimum 72-hour delivery notification - Delivery required within 90 days after contract award - No specific OEMs or brands are mentioned; products must meet technical specifications outlined in the solicitation. - Offerors must submit a signed SF1449, completed Schedule of Items, technical proposal, product literature, and Buy American Certificate.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1240LP26Q0197 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Cattle Guards and concrete bases.  

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 332323- Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
