USDA ARS RNA-Seq Library Preparation and Sequencing for Poultry Samples

The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking RNA-Seq library preparation and sequencing services for poultry RNA samples. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - OEMs and Vendors: - Illumina (NovaSeq X platform specified or equivalent) - Products/Services Requested: - RNA-Seq library preparation and sequencing for up to 176 poultry RNA samples - Stranded mRNA sequencing using Illumina NovaSeq X or equivalent - Paired-end reads (2x100 bp or 2x150 bp) - Minimum 50 million paired-end reads per sample - Quality threshold: 80% bases at Q30 or higher - Deliverables: demultiplexed compressed FASTQ files (*.fastq.gz) for each sample - Unique/Notable Requirements: - USDA will provide extracted RNA and sample metadata - All sequencing must be completed and delivered within 90 days of award - Platform must be Illumina NovaSeq X or equivalent, highlighting Illumina as the primary OEM

Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), is soliciting quotations for RNA-Seq Library.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.   

Quotations are due no later than September 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
