Description

This project involves the replacement and reconfiguration of the existing 12.47kV medium-voltage electrical distribution system serving Buildings C-30, C-31, and C-32. The work includes removal of existing medium-voltage conductors, installation of a new 12.47kV 1-in, 2-out PME-7 sectionalizer and equipment pad, installation of new underground Quazite pull box, conduits, and medium-voltage conductors, and reuse of the existing empty conduit pathway serving the Building C-32 transformer. Existing medium-voltage conductors serving Buildings C-30 and C-31 transformers will be reconnected to the new sectionalizer. The work will be phased to allow concurrent construction and will include a coordinated final system cutover to minimize campus power outage and operational impacts.
