Description
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is planning rehabilitation projects along the Klondike Highway from the Skagway River Bridge to the Canadian Border. Project 1 focuses on addressing deficiencies between Skagway River Bridge and Black Lake to extend the highway's service life, enhance safety, and improve drainage. Proposed work includes pavement rehabilitation, roadway-base repair, drainage roadside hardware, utilities, signing, striping, bridge repair, and river weir repairs. Future projects will be determined later.
