Description

This solicitation is for the SFY2027 Emerging Adult Reentry Initiative Grant Program authorized under Chapter 126 of the Massachusetts Acts of 2026. It provides funds to nonprofit organizations currently receiving SFY26 funding to continue providing pre- and post-release reentry services for offenders aged 18-25. The program aims to reduce recidivism and requires collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Correction and Sheriffs Offices. Approximately $5.9 million in grant funds will be awarded to six continuation awards for community reentry programs and one for research.
