This notice announces the continuation of the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13224 with respect to persons who commit, threaten to commit, or support terrorism. The emergency is being continued due to ongoing threats and concerns related to terrorism. The national emergency was originally declared on September 23, 2001, and is being extended for one year beyond September 23, 2026. The continuation is pursuant to section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act.
