Description

The County is seeking a Special Inspection and Materials Testing firm or individual for remodeling housing units 1, 2, and 3 at the Santa Maria Juvenile Justice Center. The remodel includes upgrading units 1 and 2 to a higher security level with new cell doors, automated locking systems, cameras, security upgrades, and ADA-compliant shower rooms. Unit 3 will be remodeled into a lower security housing unit with updated cell doors, lighting, security systems, ADA-compliant shower rooms, and new finishes. The services will ensure timely and cost-effective construction, coordinating with various stakeholders to keep the project on schedule and budget.
