The California Military Department is seeking a contractor for specialized plumbing work at three California National Guard facilities in Dublin and Stockton. - Government Buyer: - California Military Department - Office of the Adjutant General, G9 Facilities & Infrastructure, Area 2 Coordinators Office - OEMs and Vendors: - Wilkins (manufacturer of 350ASTDAR DCDA) - Febco (manufacturer of 860 RP Assembly) - Products Requested: - Wilkins 350ASTDAR 8" Double Check Detector Assembly (DCDA) with bypass assembly, meter, and OS&Y gate valves (Qty: 1) - 6" Lead Free Double Check (DC) Assembly (Qty: 1) - Repair of 6" Febco 860 Reduced Pressure (RP) Domestic Assembly (Qty: 1) - Includes replacement of check valve #1 rubber goods and pressure relief valve rubber goods; possible full replacement if post-repair certification fails - Services Requested: - Backflow replacement and repairs services, including all materials, labor, permits, certifications, and testing - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must hold a valid C-36 Plumbing Contractor license - Work must be completed within 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed - Coordination with local water authorities for service isolation and restoration - Focus on small business and disabled veteran business enterprise participation - All work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., excluding holidays - Pre-bid job walk available for site viewing

Description

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicits bids for the replacement and repair of backflow prevention assemblies at three California National Guard facilities. The contractor is required to provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary to complete the work. The prime contractor must possess a type C-36 Plumbing Contractor license. An optional pre-bid job walk is available for site viewing. Bids must be submitted via email by the specified deadline, and all questions must be directed to the designated contracting analyst.
