The City of Grande Prairie, on behalf of the Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership (GPREP), is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a feasibility study and risk assessment on the use of spontaneous public volunteers and privately owned community resources during emergency activations. The project aims to explore collaboration opportunities with citizens, community organizations, agricultural producers, contractors, businesses, and other community members to support municipal resources in emergencies. The initiative will be executed in three phases: feasibility analysis and risk assessment, development of an emergency volunteer and community resource framework, and creation of a volunteer and community resource management platform.
