The United States Postal Service (USPS) Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Department is seeking independent contractors to provide specialized Final Agency Decision (FAD) writing services for discrimination complaints and compensatory damages claims. - Government Buyer: - United States Postal Service (USPS) - Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Department - National Equal Employment Opportunity Investigative Services Office (NEEOISO) - Services Requested: - Preparation and electronic delivery of merit-based FADs for discrimination complaints - Preparation and electronic delivery of compensatory damages FADs, including legal analysis of pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages - Adherence to EEOC regulations and USPS-specific formats - Compliance with USPS quality and timeliness standards - Interface with USPS personnel for feedback and revisions - Unique/Notable Requirements: - FADs must be delivered within 15 days of case assignment, with possible 5-day extensions - Revised FADs must be submitted within 3 days of feedback - Performance is evaluated continuously based on quality and timeliness - No OEMs or physical products are involved; this is a service-based procurement for legal and administrative expertise.

Description

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is soliciting individuals with the right skill sets and interested in investing numerous hours per week to write Final Agency Decisions (FADs) in accordance with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) regulations and USPS quality and timeliness standards. Selected individuals will be independent contractors, located throughout the United States, who will enter into Ordering Agreements with the USPS to provide FAD writing services.
