The Department of the Army, through the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Lee at Fort Lee, VA, is seeking a contractor for the replacement and installation of slide gate motors and safety components at building 8045. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Lee, Fort Lee, VA - OEMs and Vendors: - LiftMaster (specified as the required manufacturer for all major components) - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) LiftMaster INSL 24UL slide gate motors (part number: INSL 24UL) - Two (2) LiftMaster photo eye safety devices (part number: photo eye) - Two (2) LiftMaster contact edge safety devices (part number: contact edge) - Two (2) LiftMaster base riser pedestal stands (part number: base riser pedestal stand) - Installation, adjustment, and full operational testing of all components - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for a complete installation - Strict compliance with manufacturer and NEC standards is required - 24/7/365 emergency service availability must be provided - Strict vetting and access requirements for contractors working on Fort Lee, including compliance with immigration and security policies - Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror - 100% Small Business Set-Aside

Description

This is a non‑personal services contract to provide new gate motors and associated safety components that support the access control systems located in building 8045 on Fort Lee, VA. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government.  The Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Lee seeks to obtain the necessary service contract required to ensure new gate motors and safety components are installed to support secure and reliable access control operations located at building 8045 on Fort Lee, VA.  The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the cable infrastructure install as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.  The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
