Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract for an organizational membership to I-STORM (The International Network for Storm Surge Barriers) to support the operation, lifecycle maintenance, and engineering design of critical coastal flood risk management assets.

I-Storm is the international network for storm surge barriers that is an international knowledge base sharing network for all who study storm surge barrier industry. Storm barriers are frequently the first line of defense against rising tides. The barriers are being developed around the world to reduce risk of severe flooding to people and property.

Period of Performance: One year.

A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 21 September 2026. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will proceed with awarding a Firm Fixed contract to I-STORM (The International Network for Storm Surge Barriers).
