Description
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, and facilities necessary to perform commercial auto body and structural repair on one (1) 2019 Pierce Saber Pumper, Registration #AF19L00242 as per the attached document labeled E-8 Performance Workj Statement Draft.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency.
Pierce has identified that the only authorized provider of repair services for it's vehicles in northern California is Golden State Fire Apparatus. As such this is planned to be a signle-source award IAW FAR 6.103-1.
To be eligible for consideration the contractor must be an authorized Pierce Manufacturing repair facility or employ Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certified mechanics specializing in Pierce apparatus to ensure repairs meet life-safety standards and maintain existing OEM warranties. The required proof will be a signed notice from a Pierce representative that you are a licensed provider of this service as of 30 September 2026.
